Well, we had a fairly uneventful evening, thank goodness :-) we left a little bit later than planned, of course, and have now made it to Waltersboro, South Carolina for the evening. All was well in the RV. Mommy got the idea on Pinterest to have destination bags for the girls. You put a small treat in a brown paper bag and write a city name on it. The girls were very excited, well Colbie was very excited. The first bag was Savannah, GA. We told them at first sight of the name Savannah and they could open their bags. We cheated because Callen's new iPhone was "burning a hole" in her bag. She is expecting an iPhone for her birthday so in order to make it a surprise we gave it to her early for the RV trip. Was she ever surprised!! She started hysterically crying and couldn't move she was so shocked and excited. It was well worth it. Needless to say she was glued to her phone the rest of the evening. You may wonder what was in Kayla and Colbie's bag...Colbie got a paper doll book, a small figurine and some gum, Kayla got a bag of Chewy Sweat tarts, gum and a couple of candy sticks. Big time excitement! Not. We are staying at New Green Acres RV Park and will have a 6 1/2 hour drive to Lexington, VA tomorrow. I'm sure daddy will wake up early, slide his sleeping beauties in and hit the road.

Ready to hit the road...

Kayla thinks her candy is way better than an iPhone.
