We had a slightly slower day today although the hours were just as long. We left Malibu early this morning and drove about four hours up the PCH, which wasn't so bad. The cliffs and ocean were beautiful and so was the Hearst Castle. It was quite impressive as we did the Grand tour and the tour of all the bedrooms. The grounds were magnificent to say the least. We stayed a little longer than planned and headed up to PCH. We saw some hilarious elephant seals flopping around on the beach and fed the nearby chipmunks by hand. The drive got a bit hairy so I took over and Kevin retreated to the bottom bunk. We stopped at Ragged Point for a bite to eat and some photos and continued on. Callen, Colbie and I stopped at the vistas for pictures while Kayla and Kevin napped in the RV. The Bixby Bridge view was especially cool. We made it to the Carmel by the River RV Park and are settling in.
